Behind the Limes

Hello and welcome! My name is Courtnie.

I was born and raised in Chicago but after 18 years decided it was time for warmer winters and chose to move to Texas. I graduated from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design and a Minor in Business. This unique combination has allowed me to pursue my creative passion for design while also allowing me to understand the reasoning and works behind it. After graduating, I decided I hadn't had enough of Texas and moved to Dallas, where I have enjoyed working as an art director at a small advertising agency.

I have been using (some days fighting) with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for about ten years now and have yet to find something that makes me happier than holding a freshly printed project…although bubble tea comes in at a close second.

When I am not behind my computer screen you can catch me exploring Dallas, cheering on my Horned Frogs, tucking my way through a Pure Barre class, or binge watching just about everything.
